DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month\, join us as Ruth Williamson\, MD\, Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology at Huntington Cancer Center\, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai Cancer\, and Jeannie Shen\, MD\, Medical Director of the Breast Program at Huntington Cancer Center and of Huntington Hospital International Health\, talk about the history of breast cancer treatment\, current screening guidelines\, treatment options for seniors\, and a breakdown of common misconceptions. \nYou can now enjoy Senior Care Network’s Noon Hour lecture series in a virtual format. These educational lectures will be held via Zoom\, but a call-in option is also still available. \nLectures will begin at 12:30 p.m. on the dates listed. Each will last about an hour and will include time for questions. Participation is free. \nFor all lectures\, you must register in advance.
