SUMMARY:Virtual Psychoeducation Meeting for Mental Wellness
DESCRIPTION:This Psychoeducation Meeting is being offered to provide information\, support\, and guidance for anyone who has questions and or concerns about the mental health process. The meeting will be facilitated by Ryan Lisman\, LPCC\, RDT\, who currently works as a licensed therapist at the Della Martin Center\, the inpatient adult psychiatric unit at Huntington Health. Psychoeducation will be provided regarding how to seek mental health resources and navigate through the challenging stigmas and barriers that may be present. Everyone in the community is welcome to join because mental health impacts everyone in different ways. In addition\, there will be a question and answer portion of the session where Ryan and the fellow members in the meeting will aim to collaborate and provide support and guidance to all questions raised. \nSpecific psychoeducation will be provided for members who are a loved one of a current or past patient of the Della Martin Center. It can be worrisome and anxiety-provoking to know that your loved one is hospitalized and may be experiencing distress\, and we want to create a space for expressing these concerns and provide relief through this challenging process. Psychoeducation elements that will be provided for these members include the nature of the treatment process for patients at the Della Martin Center\, evidence-based practices for how to be a successful support system\, how to assist your loved one with the transition process post-discharge\, and how to help your loved one with acquiring and maintaining aftercare services. \nThis Psychoeducation Meeting is designed to be open and flexible to meet the specific supportive needs of all the participants involved. Strong and healthy support systems are heavily linked to positive treatment outcomes for all mental health services\, especially psychiatric hospitalizations\, and Huntington Health wants to honor the significance of this and provide this meeting to help foster this critical factor in the treatment process. \nSupport Group: Second Friday of the month\, 10:00-11:30am \nClick here to join the zoom meeting \nMeeting ID: 827 5808 3965\nPasscode: 366550 \nSupport Group: Fourth Tuesday of the month\, 7:00-8:30pm\nClick here to join the zoom meeting\nMeeting ID: 827 5808 3965\nPasscode: 366550
