Robotic Surgery

We utilize the state-of-the-art da Vinci surgical system, robotic equipment to perform minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgeries, including cardiothoracic, colorectal, hepatobiliary, general, gynecologic, orthopedic and urology. Robotic surgeries result in less scarring and a shorter recovery time.

Preparing for Surgery

To prepare for your surgery or procedure at Huntington Health, we’ve created a booklet to help you and your loved ones get ready and know what to expect. We believe that people who know about their surgery or procedure are less anxious and have better experiences and recovery.

This booklet will let you know:
• How to get ready for your surgery.
• What to expect on the day of your surgery.
• What to expect while you are in the hospital.
• What to expect when you go home.
• How to continue recovering when you are home.

Huntington Perioperative Health Center (HPHC) has moved to the East Tower of Huntington Hospital.

Our contact numbers are: (626) 397-5905 (tel), (626) 397-2932 (fax), and our hours of operation are: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

The new location is in the same building as your surgical procedure. You will check in at the main lobby entrance of Huntington Hospital to receive a visitor sticker. Then, proceed to our center which is in the main lobby, across from the gift shop. Please ensure you bring your photo ID for check-in.
