We offer a wide range of Internal Medicine and General Surgery Clerkships. Students work under the direct supervision of the attending physician, as well as the resident(s) assigned to the rotation.
Huntington Hospital is a member of the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program. Please apply to our Clerkship Program via the VSLO website.
The application period for clerkships begin in February for 4-week long rotations from August to May of the academic year.

International applicants/Observerships: We do not have an observership program or accept international medical students for any of our clerkship rotations.
Parking: Student parking is provided for rotators.
Housing: We do not provide or have access to student housing.
Alternate schedule requests: Due to the high amount of applications each academic year, dates of the rotations are specified and alternate schedules will NOT be considered.

Internal Medicine Clerkship Opportunities
We accept fourth year medical students only for participation in our Internal Medicine rotations.
Clerkships offered to fourth year medical students from U.S. Medical schools are:
- IMGI 100 – Gastroenterology
- IMCARD 100 – Cardiology
- IMNEPH 100 – Nephrology
- IM 100 – Internal Medicine
General Surgery Clerkship Opportunities
The surgical clerkship at Huntington Hospital offers a broad exposure in general surgery as practiced in a large community hospital.
Surgical Clerkships offered to fourth year medical students from U.S. Medical schools are:
