Huntington Ambulatory Care Center

HACC is a full service medical clinic staffed by our excellent internal medicine and surgical residents.

Huntington Ambulatory Care Center (HACC)

As a teaching hospital, Huntington Hospital Ambulatory Care Center (HACC), is a full-service medical clinic staffed by the hospital’s internal medicine and surgical resident doctors, who are supervised by our experienced Huntington physicians.

As a pillar of our community, our center was founded in 1914 and has since helped thousands of people live healthier lives. Our center makes primary, outpatient and surgical services available locally.

We’re here to provide excellent, compassionate care to our community, regardless of patients’ ability to pay.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call the Ambulatory Care Center at (626) 397-5711.

Expanded Pulmonary Care Now Available at Our Clinic

In response to the potential health impact from local fires, we recently expanded pulmonary medicine for the community.

Conditions frequently treated by our center’s physicians include asthma, chronic bronchitis and bronchiesctasis, persistent cough, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung scarring or fibrosis, and sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that causes growths on the lungs.

“When you arrive at HACC, the first step of treatment is to collect information about your lungs and their function,” said Raj Dasgupta, MD, associate professor of clinical medicine and associate program director of Huntington Health’s internal medicine residency program. “We do this by conducting a breathing test in our office called spirometry, which is a valuable tool for diagnosing, monitoring, and evaluating lung function. It provides essential information for managing lung conditions and improving respiratory health. After additional tests and evaluations, we then discuss the next steps to best support your lung health. Remember, difficulty breathing and coughing can have various causes, and it’s essential to seek medical evaluation for a proper diagnosis and treatment.”

The pulmonary clinic is open every second and fourth Tuesday of the month 1 – 5 p.m. For an appointment, call (626) 397-5711.
